"To live a creative life," says psychologist and philosopher Joseph Chilton Pearce, "we must lose our fear of being wrong."

I begin with this quote because I believe it is the aspect of creativity many of us find the most difficult to navigate. However, when we're willing to "make mistakes," to do it "wrong," we completely reframe what it means to live a creative life. There are no mistakes, only experiments.

What I've come to appreciate, through the curiosity, courage and commitment of my clients, is that approaching writing in this way can be a rewarding process of personal growth. But it's one that needs support and encouragement along the way.

I've been a professional editor and writer for 30 years. Clients tell me working together has been the best money they ever spent on their writing. I've helped many writers, including a New York Times bestselling author, access their creative flow and their authentic voice so they can write with more ease, confidence and power. If you have a completed or in-progress manuscript and are stuck or looking for feedback, nothing can replace the one-on-one experience of working with a professional editor.

My professional background, coupled with 25 years of focus on personal growth, meditation and mind-body modalities, has offered up insights into human nature and creativity. My method is one of "compassionate coaching"; I don't believe in a "bootcamp" approach. Clients move at their own pace and while I encourage accountability, the mentoring process is one of exploration, discovery and opening to new ways of seeing rather than focusing exclusively on pre-determined goals.
